Forging the future of space through innovation, collaboration, and bold moves that redefine what’s possible: BlackStar Orbital proudly stood alongside some of the most forward-thinking pioneers in the aerospace and defense ecosystem at the I2A Expo Day: Space Innovation on the LA Stage, as part of our cohort with SpaceWERX. Hosted at THE BR-DGE in El Segundo, the aerospace capital of the world, this 21,000-square-foot collaboration hub is designed to ignite partnerships between entrepreneurs, technologists, brands, private organizations, and government. For BlackStar Orbital, this wasn’t just another event. It was a powerful showcase of how our SpaceDrone™ technology and SpaceBox™ program are redefining rapid, reusable access to orbit for both national security and commercial industries. Our presence at I2A marked a clear message to the defense community: the age of disposable satellites is ending, and BlackStar is leading the new era of responsive, returnable, and upgradeable space assets.
The energy at THE BR-DGE was electric. We connected with visionary partners, government program leaders, and industry trailblazers who understand the urgency of bridging the gap between innovation and implementation. As part of the I2A cohort, our team demonstrated how BlackStar’s approach creates not just technological advantages but a new strategic framework, where reusable systems accelerate mission timelines, expand capabilities, and reduce operational costs. These conversations weren’t about distant futures; they were about deployable solutions now, solutions that align with defense priorities and commercial momentum simultaneously.
And we’re not slowing down. Next, BlackStar is taking the conversation to New Worlds 2025 in Austin, Texas, a gathering of visionaries, explorers, and builders defining the future of humanity beyond Earth. At 1:30 p.m. Austin time, our CEO Christopher Jannette and CMO & SpaceBox Director Phil Loiacono will join a powerful panel to pull back the curtain on how we’re breaking barriers between DOD and the commercial space industry. We’ll explore how hypersonic, reusable satellite technology and democratized payload access are creating a new operating layer, one where national defense, science, entertainment, and commerce converge in orbit all driven by our proven SpaceBox Program witnessed on Axiom 4 with Ready Set Jet and Jeff Hamilton.
This is just the beginning. BlackStar Orbital is not simply participating in the new space race—we’re rewriting its rules. Stay tuned as we continue to build strategic bridges, spark collaborations, and set the stage for a future where space is accessible, responsive, and transformative. 🚀
